  • Is there a smoking Policy?

    Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited, however we allow re-entry for patrons who go outside to smoke in our designated area.  Please note that anyone who exits the building will have to go through security clearance. 

  • Do you have a coat check?

    Yes, we have a self serve coat check. Please use at your own risk.

  • Do you have concessions?

    We have a full concessions area with soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, and light food. We accept cash, card, and apple pay. No outside food or beverage is allowed. A valid government issued ID is required to consume alcohol.

  • Is there a bag policy?

    No backpacks or large bags are permitted.  Acceptable bags are 6" x 9". Security will search every bag that enters the venue. We do not allow illegal drugs, weapons, or outside food/beverages.

  • Do you allow photography?

    No professional cameras will be allowed inside The Ritz without prior approval from the venue or an artist.

  • Is there parking?

    The Ritz Theater does not own a private parking lot.  When visiting us, patrons can park in designated areas on the street, as well as in one of the multiple parking garages within a two block radius.  You will find parking garages on Linden Street (between Wyoming and Washington);  Biden Street (between Wyoming and Penn); N. Washington Ave (between Biden and Lackawanna) & Lackawanna Ave at Steamtown.

  • What forms of ID are considered valid?

    According to PA.gov, the only legally acceptable forms of ID in Pennsylvania are:

    - A valid photo driver's license issued by the PA Department of Transportation or any state.

    - A valid photo identification card issued by the PA Department of Transportation or any state.

    - A Canadian driver's license or other bona fide Canadian identification.

    - A valid U.S. Armed Forces identification card containing the holder's photograph.

    - A valid passport, passport card or travel visa containing the holder's photograph.

    Camera cards are not accepted as valid identification.

    If you purchase a ticket for an 18+ or 21+ event and do not present an acceptable form of ID, you will be denied entry and no refund will be provided.
